Black Eerie Swamp is an extremely vicious land within the Northern Spiritual Realm. However, it is quite different than the Northern Spiritual Field. At least in the Northern Spiritual Field, Adventurer Teams would often head there. As for the Black Eerie Swamp, it is almost a forbidden land within the Northern Spiritual Realm.
During the past few years, nine out of ten individuals who entered it would turn into fertilizer for the land. As for the remaining ones, they would be able to make it out. Yet, they would insane and would require an extremely long period of time to recover from their insanity. Even after, they would still be scared stiff just from hearing the mention of the Black Eerie Swamp.[1]
When the Liu Territory and the Mu Territory found out about the fact that a weakened Nine Netherbird, which had just failed in completing its evolution, both of the Territories where determined to slay the beast and acquire its Soul Essence.[2] Unfortunately for them, the news was all a ploy to attract humans to the location that the Beast could consume, to recover from its injuries. Both the territories came out of the situation empty handed with minor losses, with the exception of Mu Chen who had unknowingly become the host for the bird in his own body. [3]
