Chen Hou is a student of Northern Heavens Spiritual Academy and a lackey of the He Yao's in the Demon's Gate. While Mu Chen was undertaking a mission as part of Su Xuan's team, he lead a team that included Yang Hong to invade the freshman grounds that belong to the Goddess Luo Association and as a result faced off against Luo Li, losing his 15th rank in the Heavenly Ranking. Later, once the likes of Luo Li and Mu Chen became sophomores, Chen Hou attempted to intimidate the new freshman into joining the Demon's Gate. However when finding out that Yu Xi, Qing Shan and the rest were juniors of Mu Chen, from the Northern Spiritual Academy, he quickly relented, even going as far as apologising.
