It was an emerald lake that looked akin to a mirror, without any ripples, reflecting the heavens and earth. Although it was calm in appearance, it permeated a pressure that even made a Heavenly Sovereign felt pressured.
In the past, the Phoenix Clan came into agreement with the other flying Divine Beasts and flying Supreme Divine Beasts. When the Heavenly Sovereign experts of each clan about to die, they would enter the Deification Pool and melt their bodies and blood essences, and fused into the Pool. This way, their descendants would be able to make use of the bloodline source left by their ancestors to purify their bloodline and evolve.
The Pool was owned and managed by the Phoenix Clan, but according to the agreement among various flying beasts, they had to share the Pool with others. At certain period of time, the Deification Pool would be opened for members of flying Divine Beasts and flying Supreme Divine Beasts who would be trying to obtain the blood essences of their ancestors (Peak Blood Essence).

- The Deification Pool was basically similar to the Divinity Sea in the Divine Beast Origin. However, the Pool was easier for absorption, since the Heavenly Sovereigns willingly entered before their deaths. On the other hand, the Divinity Sea came from those experts who died in battle, all of which contained different Wills. Thus, it was more violent and harder to absorb.
