Back in the primordial times, Divine Beast Origin was a special region within the Divine Beast Continent where many powerful Divine Beasts resided, with many of them being super Divine Beasts. At that time, the fighting power contained in the region was about 30% of the entire Divine Beast Continent.
During ancient war, the Fiend Clans attacked and shattered the Divine Beast Origin while they were caught off-guard. The Fiend Clans used a black hole space to devour the Divine Beast Origin. After that war, some powerful Divine Beast figures tried to search for the Divine Beast Origin which had been devoured by the black hole space, and in the end found it. They made the Divine Beast Origin to appear again in certain period of time, and since then all younger generation members of the Beast Clans can enter the Divine Beast Origin to seek for opportunities inside (see Divine Beast Origin Exploration).

The three Rulers were the strongest experts in the Divine Beast Origin during primordial time. Their strength were comparable to Heavenly Sovereigns. When the Divine Beast Origin was destroyed, they launched a counterattack, by sacrificing their lives, that dragged five Monarchs of the Fiend Clans along with them, sealing those Monarchs.
