The Great Solar Undying Body is one of the many type of Sovereign Celestial Bodies. A Sovereign Celestial Body is something that only a genuine Sovereign can actually cultivate, and it's said that any way of an arm with such a body could render the heavens and sunder the earth, making it the mark of recognition of a Sovereign level existence.
Mu Chen obtained the cultivation technique of Great Solar Undying Body during his time at the Spiritual Road, in the form of a piece of mysterious black paper (Sealing Volume of the Immortal Catalog). It laid dormant in his Aura Sea all the time. When he begun cultivating the Great Pagoda Art, that Qing Yanjing left for him, the mysterious black paper showed some reaction, but nothing came out of that. Until he participated in the Divine Spiritual Mountain, he was able to start cultivating the technique.
Later, Mu Chen discovered that in order to refine the Great Solar Undying Body, one would require three treasures as materials, Nine Suns Divine Lingzhi, Void Great Solar Fruit and Undying Divine Leaf.
Sovereign Celestial Bodies posses a unique ability called a Sovereign Ability. The Great Solar Undying Body's Sovereign Ability is called Nine Solar Energy (revealed by Mandala, Novel ch 718). In order to use this Sovereign Ability, one must nurture and catalyze nine Solar Crystals that are spread through out the body. Each time a subsequent crystal is unlocked, the attack power increases. Catalyzing the crystals requires an immense amount of Spiritual Energy.

Refining Steps[]
- "Initial Outline of the Body". Forming the initial outline of the Sovereign Celestial Body with his own Spiritual Energy.
- "Solidify the Body". Used Nine Suns Divine Lingzhi as the body. Nine Suns Divine Lingzhi entered the initial form of the Sovereign Celestial Body, and it instantly split up as nine blazing suns which hovered at the head, heart and the crucial locations of the four limbs. At the same time, the 50,000 Sovereign Spiritual Liquids were also poured into the Body.
- "Refining the Body". Using the Void Great Solar Fruit to refine the Body. The Fruit's power was very overbearing which caused the Body to explode. This was when the Undying Divine Leaf took action by reforming the Sovereign Celestial Body. Apparently, the Sovereign Celestial Body had to experience breaking before it could become more perfect under the power of the Undying Divine Leaf.
Appearance[]
The face of the Great Solar Undying Body was similar to Mu Chen. Looking from afar, it was like an enormous Buddha (it was a few thousand feet in height), possessing the power to suppress even the heavens and earth. There was a large sun hovering at the back of the Body’s head. There were golden flames that were quietly moving around the sun.

- The Great Solar Undying Body is an incomplete part of the Primordial Immortal Body, a fact revealed by the mysterious black paper (Immortal Catalog).
- Due to it being an incomplete body, it is unranked. However, according to Mandala, it should be comparable to a Sovereign Celestial Body in the top 30.
- Garuda had a different version of Great Solar Undying Body. It's black instead of Mu Chen's golden body, and had different Sovereign Ability.
