The Great Thousand World is a vast Upper Plane (upper world), where countless races and beings reside, a place where many continents intersect.
The Great Thousand World interweaves with countless Lower Planes, such as Flame Emperor Xiao Yan and Martial Ancestor Lin Dong's origin planes. The strongest individuals in the lower planes, who are able to break through the shackles of their worlds, ascend to the Great Thousand World, Here, powerhouses are like trees in a forest, fishes in the sea.
To become the ruler of a continent is something few can ever achieve in their lifetime. Generally, a continent ruler must be at least a Heavenly Sovereign to properly defend and maintain the order of a vast continent, Otherwise, it will take hundreds of Sovereigns or dozens of Earth Sovereigns to defend one continent.
Continents in the Great Thousand World can be classified as Super Continent and Ordinary Continent. The Hundred Spirit Continent where the Northern Spiritual Realm located, is only considered to be a very tiny continent.
After the first war against the Fiend Clans (the ancient war), roughly 49,000 years ago, the Great Thousand World was divided with half of the World occupied by the Fiend Clans. Even many Lower Planes were also occupied by the Fiend Clans. The inhabitants of the occupied areas became the Fiend Clans' livestock. The Fiend Clans slaughtered them whenever they’re hungry.
After Mu Chen killed Heavenly Evil Monarch in the second war (the final battle), the remnant of defeated Fiend Clans were chased out of the Great Thousand World for good.
