The Luo God Clan is one of the Four Great God Clans and was strong enough to suppress the other three God Clans into submission during its golden age. This was mostly due to them possessing a Heavenly Sovereign and two Earthly Sovereigns which lead the clan to glory.
The Luo God Clan’s geniuses have been withering these past few hundred years. And the latest individuals with considerable talents are Luo Li and her father. Sadly her father passed away during a battle between the Four Great God Clans before ever being able to reverse the clan's decline, which caused many of the clan members to decline.
This was until Luo Li's talent was revealed to the clan, which was even greater than her father's. This caused everyone in the clan to put their lot with her and nurture her potential so that she could be ready to accept the clan's inheritance before her grandfather, Luo Tianshen would pass away, who the only deterring force against the Four Great God Clans attacks. The inheritance was something that could give her chance to reach the Earth Sovereign Stage, take over the clan, and then lead the clan back to its former glory.[1]
The Luo God Clan had in the past aided The Flame Emperor, Xiao Yan in successfully converting his Douqi into Spiritual Energy after his entrance to the realm, which served as an additional deterrent against the other God Clans. Sadly this wasn't as useful as actually having a Sovereign Stage expert in the clan, due to the distance between the two territories and the fact that the Four Great God Clans were strong clans with deep reserves.[2] This is especially the case since Luo Tianshen has been injured during confrontation against the other God clans and has his cultivation restrained and in danger of passing away anytime soon.
This is also why they were reluctant to let Luo Li go to the Northern Heavens Spiritual Academy, for fear that Luo Tianshen would pass away before Luo Li could receive the clan's inheritance, leaving the clan without a figure that can repel other forces' invasion. They would take Luo Li back to the clan shortly after Great Spiritual Academy Tournament.
When Mu Chen went to Luo God Clan's territory to help Luo Li, she was disturbed by the Blood God Clan as she was receiving the inheritance. She was saved by Mu Chen and successfully received the clan's inheritance. Subsequently, Flame Emperor was summoned by Mu Chen and he healed Luo Tianshen, making him regain his cultivation as Earthly Sovereign and at the same time save his life.
