Mo Ling is ranked second overall in the Northern Spiritual Academy. An East Branch Student, who tries to form a good relationship with Mu Chen. When the Northern Spiritual Academy put on the entry competition for the Five Great Academies, he lost to Liu Mubai disastrously, but managed to demonstrate his tenacity, winning the acknowledgement of Teacher Hao. As such, he got a place in the Five Great Academies, and chose the Northern Heavens Spiritual Academy, along with Mu Chen.
