Wen Qingxuan is a student of the Myriad Phoenix Spiritual Academy and champion of the Spiritual Road. During the Spiritual Road, she was in two minds as to whether she should have a showdown with Ji Xuan or go for the Spirit Crown, but as she was hesitating, Luo Li prevented Ji Xuan's advancement, giving Wen Qingxuan a clear path to the Spirit Crown. She never forgot this in her heart and subsequently, developed an infatuation with Luo Li. In the Great Spiritual Academy Tournament, she sought out Mu Chen and Luo Li in an attempt to pull Luo Li to her side, but ended up settling with cooperating with Mu Chen's team in a bid to get the treasures from the Divine Wood Mountain. Her alliance with Mu Chen turned out to be quite profitable, with her coming away from the Divine Wood Academy of the Divine Wood Palace fragment with the Green Wooden Vine Robe. However, upon parting with Mu Chen and attempting to regain her points, she fell into an array laid by Xiao Huang, who would then use her as a hostage to try and get the Spiritual Condensing Bowl from Mu Chen. After Mu Chen naturally came to save her, she returned the favour by providing support for him as he broke Xiao Huang's array, and then suppressed Xiao Huang and Xiao Wang, along with Luo Li, while Mu Chen extorted 20,000 points from the Alliance, before handing them to Wen Qingxuan to put her back into second place.
Mu Chen and her meet again in the Sacred Abyss City in the Sacred Abyss Continent where she was revealed to come from the Northern Domain's Wen Clan.[1] Later, they teamed up to help Wen Qingxuan obtain the inheritance of the Spirit-Pellet Butterfly Fairy, which she later obtained with Mu Chen's help.
